WWW Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The Ws are the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you plan on reading next?
So let’s get right into it!
📖 Learning Curves by Ceillie Simkiss — ebook // not gonna lie I only read maybe a paragraph before falling asleep last night. I’m excited though because I know there is ADHD rep and a lesbian/panromantic-ace f/f romance. This is part of my TBR for FFFeb (like all the books mentioned here).
🎧 女将军和长公主 by 请君莫笑 — audio drama // must I understand Chinese? is it not enough to revel in the simple joy of listening to Lin Wanyue and Li Xian’s voices as they fall in love and overcome obstacle after obstacle?
[this is the audio drama of Female General and Eldest Princess which I have finished reading a few days ago…..it’s so good and only the first season is free but I’ll take what I can. it’s also pretty easy to follow if you understand just a few Chinese words and have read the novel, so it’s not like I’m completely clueless while listening to it hsdkghs]
📘 In the Vanishers’ Palace by Aliette de Bodard — audiobook // this was my first 2(.5) stars of this year and I’m a little bit sad. It was a useful book because from reading it I was able to create a mental list of things that I apparently don’t like/care about and from this I will hopefully be able to choose my next reads better. It’s still a good book if you like the sort of things that I personally wasn’t into, so check out my review (it’s only on goodreads for now but I’ll post it here too, so if you see it in the next few days please pretend you haven’t read it already fdshfhs)
📕 That Could Be Enough by Alyssa Cole — ebook // I’m really looking forward to this, I still haven’t read any of Alyssa Cole’s historical romances (wtf!!) and this seems to be a great place to start.
